Donation of Goods to Non-Profit Organizations
Mayway donates overstocked and near-expiration product to qualified local, national, and international non-profit organizations and community projects. We also discount products for qualified organizations.
Eligibility: The general guidelines for qualification are a 170(b)(1)(A) tax ID status, serving patients in need with little or no ability to pay for herbs, having acupuncturists, herbalists and/or medical professionals who are volunteer and a budget which does not already include sufficient funds for herbs. Our Donations Committee evaluates requests for donations on a case-by-case basis.
How to Apply for Donations: Requests must be submitted in writing and must include a general mission statement, description of the program, verification of 170(b)(1)(A) tax ID status and contact information. Once a request is received potential recipients will be informed by phone or email of its status. If approved, we will provide a current list of items available for donation. You are welcome to call to confirm that your request was received and to check on its status.

Mayway Annual Calendar Fundraiser
Each year Mayway selects a non-profit TCM organization to benefit from our calendar fundraiser. All proceeds from the sale of our annual calendar is donated to the chosen organization to help further its goals. Additionally, the recipient organization is spotlighted in our Mayway Mailer e-newsletter and on our website. Past recipients have included the Tibetans in Exile Health Project, the Pan African Acupuncture Project, and Mindful Medicine Worldwide.

Eligibility The general guidelines for qualification are a 170(b)(1)(A) tax ID status, serving patients in need with little or no ability to pay for services, and having acupuncturists, herbalists and/or medical professionals who are volunteer. Applicant will provide to Mayway a written article about the organization and its work for the Mayway newsletter if selected.
How to Apply: Requests must be submitted in writing and must include a general mission statement, description of the program, reasons why the organization should be selected, verification of 170(b)(1)(A) tax ID status and contact information. Once a request is received, potential recipients will be informed by phone or email of its status. Requests must be received by August 15th of the current year to be eligible for the upcoming year’s fundraiser. The recipient organization will be selected by September 30th.
