Course 3 will review the herbal categories Aromatic Transform Damp, Transform Damp and Transform Phlegm. The review will include graphs comparing individual herb functions, thermal properties, entering meridians and best use for each herb. Discussion will include examples of specific applications of herbs within the category, and common Dui Yao combinations used frequently in classic herbal prescriptions. A brief case study will also be used to provide homework for learning how to prescribe herbs using a real-world scenario.Mark W. He is the author of numerous articles on Chinese herbal medicine and has been an active presenter at TCM conferences since 2014.
